In the summer of 2020, in the Siberian city of Kansk, several teenagers were detained by the FSB for sticking posters criticizing the state and in support of political prisoners on the building of the security service. As a result, a criminal case was opened against three 14-year-old schoolchildren under a «terrorist» article, which provides for punishment from 15 years to life imprisonment. Two of them were placed in a pre-trial detention center, and one under house arrest.
